Find Alignment with Your Body to Unlock Your Full Potential

There was a time when I was trying to get out of my busy mind and back into my body on my own at home via meditation. I would wait till I was alone in a quiet house and attempt to sit on my yoga mat and be still. I literally felt like I was going to crawl out of my skin and I would check the 10- minute timer 10 times within the first 2 minutes.

I couldn’t comprehend how people could meditate longer than five minutes because I was so used to not being in my body until I started making little tweaks that have helped me actually enjoy and even crave stillness.

If you are someone that struggles with mindfulness, meditation, and yoga, I would love to offer a couple of tips. These are things you can do and pay attention to while you go through your day:

1) Before your feet hit the ground in the morning, take 3 deep breaths and a few stretches. Instead of reaching for your phone and getting into what needs to be done for the day, start with the body.

2) Slow down and pay attention to how you brush your teeth, wash in the shower, and get ready. Many of us are rushing through these, creating so much stress in the body

3) Pay attention to who you are BEING while you are making, drinking your coffee and eating your breakfast.

I used to hurry to make my coffee and slam some breakfast in while running out the door, which probably didn’t help my digestion much or ground me before a workday but it changed when I choose to change.

You see it can be these very simple tweaks that can set you up for a happier, healthier and more grounded day.

We all know that the morning sets the tone, so without changing anything in your day, I invite you to try 1 or all 3 of these simple tweaks to get out of your head and into your body.

Imagine if you could sit in stillness for over an hour each day… seem nearly impossible, right?!

I thought so too, which is why I started small, I mean really, really small in order to get out of my busy brain and back to my body. Knowing that we are all so busy with work, business, family, friends, and our never-ending to-do lists sometimes, oftentimes, we have to start out doing this work.

If you are ready to move past the hustle and have more harmony in your life, book a call now so we can work together to make that happen. I’d love to help hustlers, like you, get back into their bodies so that they can slow down and enjoy their lives.

Start small to create bigger opportunities!
