The Abundance Series, Let's Talk About Money

Abundance is a big buzzword and concept in the coaching industry. Like most things, it means different things to different people. I have come to realize that most of us desire abundance in all areas of our lives, with our health, relationships, spiritually, mentally, and of course, financially. I decided to do an abundance series addressing many of these areas by offering tips, tricks, and ways to manifest more and even have an overflow of what you want most.

Let’s start with money, honey!

One of my favorite areas to coach is helping my clients shift from a scarcity mindset, full of lack and disappointment, to a more abundant one full of freedom and ease. This is often a long-term journey, working through money blocks we picked up in childhood, but one of the most rewarding.

Many of us grew up with the following money blocks:

- You have to work really hard to earn money

-Money is the root of all evil

-Managing money is too complex/I am bad at it

-I am afraid of money

These belief systems were presented to us in childhood when our subconscious mind was being formed, and now often feels so ingrained and unchangeable. Here is a perfect example:

I had a client this week who was getting very anxious looking at her retirement savings that is taking a hit in the stock market, creating more lack and worry in her daily life. Together we examined her thought process and recognized that the numbers in her portfolio had no power over her until she started to have thoughts about them.

Recognizing this intellectually helped her feel a tad better, but what created a more significant shift for her was my suggestion to devote one hour a week to her money and her abundance mindset. We had some fun coming up with titles for this hour, i.e. “Wealthy Woman Wednesday” or Financial Savvy Friday” but she came away feeling excited to dedicate this time to abundance.

What if one hour a week you had fun with money? You could listen to an uplifting money management podcast, read a manifestation book, or have a coaching call around attracting more abundance.

If you want to attract more abundance into your life, more money is just one form of abundance. I invite you to dedicate a sacred hour to this potential manifestation and have some fun with it! Find a mentor, an expander--🡪someone you admire, who inspires you to reach for more, without hustling and burning yourself out doing more, and ask them for guidance and insight into their mindset and daily practices.

If you would like to explore private coaching with me around this topic or any more in this series, please reach out and schedule a 1:1 call with me.

Warmly,

Melanie
