I have a quick fix for you

Are you drawn in by a good quick fix? Admit it. It’s so easy to get drawn in to the latest, greatest can’t fail product.  Florescent tea drinks with rail-thin women sipping them while half-dressed on a yoga mat overlooking the Costa Rican rain forest. Or from a fancy cup that beeps at you when it’s time to drink ---Yes, I was silly enough to purchase this cup because the ad cleverly had a shrinking woman whose only secret to weight loss was drinking water. Seriously?!? I know the weight loss industry is a multi-billion-dollar operation that knows full well that many of us are drawn into the quick fix. Intuitively many of us know that quick fixes don’t work, but why are we drawn in anyways? My belief is that many of us don’ t want to do the hard emotional work that is required to lose weight and most importantly keep it off permanently. We all want a short cut, an easy way out, a secret passage way. How many email lists did I get on because I was promised some new secret way? We resist hard work, our brains fight us at first. We don’t want to get uncomfortable and look at what is underneath our drive to overeat.

No duh spoiler alert--->There is no easy way! In fact, even if there was, you wouldn’t want to take it anyway and here’s why.........When you do something hard, the journey and accomplishment builds tremendous confidence and helps you understand WHY you are overeating in the first place. If you take a deep dive with an expert Life & Weight Coach like myself and uncover these reasons and work diligently to understand them you can change them for good. If you take a pill or a weight loss drink, you don’t do this hard work. You never solve for the real reason you are overweight in the first place. When I was overweight I used to think it would be amazing if I could have some drastic surgery that didn’t hurt and that would take off my weight without any effort. But now I am so thankful that I did the hard work and have been able to keep the weight off for as long as I have while learning so much about myself and how to process emotions.

What I am selling you on is YOURSELF. Believing that you can do the hard work, uncover the real reasons you overeat, over drink, over anything. This is what will set you free, not the product of the month. Invest in yourself and be free forever. Invest in the latest product and you will make someone rich instead. Don't shortcut yourself.
